Starting out experimenting with Grime at local youth clubs, Splitz went on to attract the attention of other local Bristol musicians such as his St Paul’s neighbour Buggsy. It’s clear to see how his versatile artistry is widely inspired by the likes of Michael Jackson, Skepta and Chronixx as he displays styles from reggae to acoustic.
Growing up listening to old RnB sounds of Jaheim and Anthony Hamilton, Charece can now be found bumping the more modern sounds of Anderson Paak, Erykah Badu and D’Angelo. Taking influence from weighty topics such as love, war and societal systems she blends songwriting with poetry to tell stories that interest her through music.
